NEC Display Solutions Europe strengthens global strategic sales focus with new division
Simon Jackson appointed to lead Strategic and Global Sales Division
Munich, 8 July, 2015 - NEC Display Solutions Europe Europe has appointed Simon Jackson to lead a newly created Strategic and Global Sales Division, reinforcing NEC’s global sales infrastructure and focus on customer solutions. This new division reflects NEC’s role as a major force in high value and complex display projects, and enables it to better meet the needs of its global customers.
Led by Simon Jackson as Senior Director, Strategic and Global Sales Division, the department will create a centre of excellence to reinforce NEC’s global proposition and expertise in delivering strategic customer projects, showcasing NEC’s scale and ability to holistically support global or cross-market customers. It will also encourage innovation and technology leadership in delivering solutions and applications tailored to customer needs. As part of this innovation, it will capitalise on the company’s ecosystem of technology and sales partners, support capabilities and in-depth industry expertise.
NEC provides the tools for organisations to drive sales, improve efficiencies and provide innovative new ways of working or communicating, by using visual experience. By building specific packages for vertical industry sectors such as aviation, retail signage, quick service restaurants, leisure and museums and education, NEC creates a better experience for the audience in each sector.
The new global division reinforces NEC’s focus on strategic customer solutions, bringing together industry expertise and excellent quality products. Simon Jackson, based in NEC’s European Headquarters in Munich, Germany, will lead the team, providing resource as a part of NEC’s global strategy.

Simon has been with NEC since 1998, most recently heading the UK and Benelux markets where he oversaw Strategic Sales, Marketing and Operations for NEC Display Solutions. He also led teams focused on digital cinema, healthcare and Digital Out of Home, developing solution sales for key NEC vertical markets.
