NEC Competence Day 2010 – ideas for growth and success
NEC Display Solutions organised industry event for the seventh time
Munich, 3 November 2010 – The slogan for this year’s NEC Competence Day, held in Bonn on 7 October 2010, was “Growing Solutions”. More than 400 distributors, resellers and specialist retailers accepted the invitation given by NEC Display Solutions. Together with 30 partners, the host presented innovative display and projection solutions against the impressive backdrop of the Hotel Kameha Grand. Besides the presentation of the Partner Awards, the festive evening also featured the official product launch of a new series of desktop displays.
NEC Display Solutions is setting new standards in the field of corporate displays with its MultiSync ® EX series. The entry-level model of the “Office Cool” range, the NEC MultiSync ® EX231W, was presented in the course of the gala evening. With its innovative design, advanced technology and the highest level of environmental compatibility, the monitor represents a new generation of displays.
As a further highlight of the programme, Lutz Hardge, General Manager Sales Central Europe & Central East Europe, presented the Partner Awards for outstanding services. The award-winning companies included ADA - Das SystemHaus, SEEN MEDIA, Ingram Micro Distribution, DELO Computer, VSV International and DATAVISION Deutschland.
The focus of the product exhibition was on concrete solution scenarios. NEC Display Solutions and its partners gave an impressive presentation of how displays and projectors can be deployed effectively and profitably. The focus here was on the themes of digital signage, Pro AV, education, corporate, healthcare and colour management. The expert audience experienced exciting new products such as the new M Series projectors or the recently launched LED modules.
Current industry topics as efficient digital signage concepts or the development of the digital out-of-home industry were addressed in various expert presentations.
