The portfolio of DICOM compliant and medically certified desktop monitors from NEC Display Solutions includes greyscale and colour displays ranging from two to five Megapixels. For market-leading development, NEC will also be promoting the new QAXRAY module as part of the GammaCompMD QA software solution.

Of particular note is the new 30-inch 4MP NEC MD301C4 monitor, which continues the established trend towards the use of colour displays in medical diagnostics. Similarly the MDview 231 and MDview 271 clinical review displays, large format DICOM calibratable 46-inch displays and the PA500U DICOM simulation installation projector, also making its market debut, will underscore NEC’s unique Hospital-Wide portfolio.

Taking place each March in Vienna, this year’s ECR show is expected to be the biggest ever, and has already drawn a 26 percent increase in scientific paper submissions over previous year. The comprehensive programme will ensure there is something of interest to every attendee, including the burlesque party as the grand finale.
