Munich, 10 February, 2015NEC Display Solutions Europe  today unveils its world of visual experience at ISE 2015, showcasing its vision and future applications for digital display technology. At its booth (4-R24 in Hall 4), NEC is giving visitors the opportunity to experience the bright places we encounter every day through an immersive and engaging city journey.

Visitors can see specific examples of the NEC visual journey in everyday life scenarios. These scenarios range from shopping, photo studio, learning and working, to control rooms, eating and drinking, galleries and museums and public transportation: visual experiences where we are consuming more and more information on screens each day.

At ISE this year, NEC brings all of this to life with a wide range of industry customised demonstrations, including; ‘Digital Live Painting’ with an artist creating pictures of visitors using ShadowSenseTM touch technology, and ‘On the Move’, a highly complex simulation of a train station with digital information system that combines context-aware advertising with passenger information, powered by NEC’s leafengine sensor technology and SmartsignTM software. Visitors can also experience a ‘Studio’ set-up with Adrian Weinbrecht, professional photographer, demonstrating a full colour workflow. In the ‘Learn and Work’ section, collaboration demonstrations will be held using DisplayNote software and ultra-short-throw projectors for interactive whiteboard applications.

“Our presence at ISE 2015 reflects everyday visual experiences, but it also shows how each of those journeys can be made brighter. At home, at work, when travelling or shopping, we all consume information visually on screens and all of these images can be made brighter and provide more benefits to businesses and consumers,” comments Stefanie Corinth, Senior Vice President Marketing and Business Development at NEC Display Solutions Europe.

“This year NEC brings together people, solutions, eco partners, and industry expertise to create tailored applications that improve the way we access information. Ultimately, we want to help our customers experience a brighter world and we are excited to show them how this can be made possible.”

Also on display at the booth are the new 84- and 98-inch UHD displays, the high-brightness 47-inch large format display for outdoor use, fine pitch LED for indoor applications, skyline mapping projection, and live tutorials of new laser light source projectors.

Guided tours with NEC experts in all major European languages are available on the stand and can be reserved in advance. Information about the ISE event and directions for visitors are also being hosted on NEC touch displays around the event hall.
