Silver Screen Cinemas partners with Sharp/NEC and CinemaNext for strategic expansion

Munich, 9 April –Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe has together with the leading cinema integrator CinemaNext supported Silver Screen Cinemas in its latest expansion plans. As the largest private cinema chain in Belarus, Silver Screen Cinemas is making strategic investments in new multiplex sites across the country, and has opened the first new site in Grodno on 25th March.

Silver Screen Cinemas chose laser cinema projector models from Sharp/NEC for their image quality, especially on reflective screens, and their expected extended lifespan. For its smallest screens, the company has installed the very compact NC1201L projector in a boothless cinema, using an acoustic box provided by CinemaNext. Silver Screen’s mid-sized screens are equipped with the new laser phosphor-based model NC1402L. On the largest screens, with 15m width and a gain of 3.4, the RB laser model NC1700L has been installed.
