Visual technology for any size of meeting space

Multiple meeting rooms and conferencing spaces are equipped with NEC large format displays and projectors to provide business startups with the environment they need to flourish.

AZS Wrocław is an organisation dedicated to promoting and improving physical fitness in young people in the Dolnoslaskie province of Poland, with particular emphasis on the academic community.

The ‘E-Sport Business Incubator’ is the brainchild of the AZS Wrocław Academic Sports Association to create a space for entrepreneurs, university graduates and anyone starting out in the sports and recreational services sector.

It is a space for people embarking on their own business initiative who might need community support, or simply, a comfortable working environment.

The Challenge

The vast office space is intended for lease with zones for business meetings of both small (up to 6 individuals) as well as large groups (over 150 individuals).

The facility is intended to be used not only by long-term tenants, but also by individuals and companies seeking to rent an office for a few days or even hours. Consequently, the meeting rooms had to be equipped for all types of usage and be easily and conveniently available to users.

The ‘Business Incubator’ facility comprises 9 office spaces from 35 to 174 m2, 7 conference rooms of 17 to 165 m2, common areas with kitchenettes, co-working spaces with 6 computer stations, and a café.

Sharp/NEC Solution

To equip the spaces, AZS Wrocław selected SLX Sp. z o.o. as its long-term partner using Sharp/NEC branded visual equipment.

A 165 m2 conference room is one of the most impressive spaces in the facility with one wall almost entirely covered in digital displays. “The 55-inch NEC UN552V monitors, with a very narrow frame of approx. 3.5 mm, ensure excellent quality and visibility of the displayed image across the entire surface of the video wall which is in a 7x3 configuration. The high image quality and reliability of the Sharp/NEC solution will ensure long-term trouble-free operation with IPS panel technology providing realistic and consistent colours. For us, as an integrator, an important issue was the wide range of functions built into NEC monitors that ensure trouble-free configuration and calibration, as well as subsequent diagnostics,” emphasizes Michał Samek, director of the Wrocław branch of SLX Sp. z o.o.

The Representative Hall, with a multimedia wall using NEC UN552V monitors forming a display area of over 17 m2, is perfect for lectures, conferences, fairs, and presentations. Being able to display several independent pieces of content on a large screen and a projector on the opposite wall brings visual comfort for presenters and participants.

Smaller conference rooms and meeting rooms benefit from NEC 65-inch interactive monitors for collaborative working, NEC E-Series 55- and 65-inch large-format monitors, and projectors based on both laser and lamp light sources (NEC P-Series and ME-Series models).

The Result

The Business Incubator hosts conferences and other events for more than 150 participants, but also helps emerging startups find room to expand their business.

“From the coworking zone, through small meeting rooms and large conference rooms, our client will find the perfect solution for their needs,” says Andrzej Hrehorowicz, vice-president of AZS Wrocław Academic Sports Association.
