Sharp/NEC returns to San Sebastián International Film Festival as its digital cinema projector partner, in collaboration with Kelonik

Munich, September 16 – Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe today announced it has been selected by the San Sebastián International Film Festival (SSIFF) to be its digital cinema projectors partner. Working with Kelonik, a leading integrator specialising in cinema projectors and sounds for cinemas, NEC’s projectors will be used at the 69th edition of the event, which takes place from 17 to 25 September 2021.

Since it was founded in 1953, the SSIFF has achieved global renown and is recognised by the International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations (FIAPF) as a ‘top category competitive film festival’. The festival provides an outstanding cinema experiences to its attendees, with large screens and dual projection capabilities of the highest quality. Last year’s event attracted almost 2,626 accredited industry guests, some of whom attended online on account of the global pandemic.
