Karsten Winther appointed to the role of Vice President Sales EMEA

NEC Display Solutions to strengthen EMEA leadership team

Munich, 03 September 2012 – NEC Display Solutions Europe has today announced the appointment of Karsten Winther to the role of Vice President Sales EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). With this new management position, NEC Display Solutions will reinforce and strengthen its EMEA sales and business operations to further develop and successfully grow its solution-led sales. Karsten Winther, who has many years of experience within the AV industry, will be part of the EMEA management team based in Munich, Germany, and report into Bernd Eberhardt, President and CEO of NEC Display Solutions Europe.

In the role of Vice President Sales EMEA, Karsten Winther will lead and drive strategic and operational sales activities to support NEC Display Solutions’ regional sales, corporate sales and channel sales teams. NEC Display Solutions is leading the market in digital signage and projection solutions with a rich product history and industry experts in every area of the business. Today, NEC offers the most comprehensive and solution-oriented portfolio available on the market.

Karsten Winther has over 15 years of experience in the AV and IT industry and a strong background with over 10 years dedicated to the Epson Group, where he managed complex product lines, pricing strategies, sales strategy planning and business partner agreements. Prior to Epson, Karsten Winther held several other positions at IT-related companies in Denmark.
