Comprehensive range of new display technologies and software solutions demonstrate vertical sector expertise

NEC to present ‘A world of Visual Experience’ at ISE 2014 through latest display solutions

Munich, 17 December, 2013 – NEC Display Solutions Europe will showcase its extensive range of visual display applications and innovative software solutions at the ISE 2014 trade fair. On booth 4-R24 NEC will display a real-life shopping mall scenario with applications on show for retail and facility management, as well as training and conferencing solutions, live digital cinema and food court areas.

At home, whilst shopping, travelling or relaxing, the information displayed around us is undergoing rapid change. Digital displays have become the leading component in capturing attention, informing and delighting customers. ISE 2014 show-goers can look forward to a range of real-life scenario display installations and software in action on the NEC Display Solutions Europe stand, to experience first-hand the benefits digital displays bring.

Highlights on the 425m² stand will include the latest interactive solutions in the form of multi- touch displays, DisplayNote presenter management software for engaging meetings and lessons, and leafengine sensor technology for context-aware digital signage. The new Professional Series line-up of large format displays will be integrated in sector-focussed applications and an 80” model will be used for life-size images. In addition, new 4K UHD displays will be on show ranging from 24” to 84” in size. Projectors will also play a prominent role, with visitors able to experience the edge blending capabilities of a PH1400U installation and see laser light source projectors in action. NEC will preview for the first time in public the new PA Series installation projectors for high-performance applications (launching later in 2014).

Visitors to the NEC Display Solutions Europe stand can meet company experts, who will demonstrate NEC’s innovative display solutions targeted to enhance awareness, communication, productivity and analysis across all major vertical sectors: corporate environments, airport/transportation, leisure/museum, retail, quick service restaurants, energy/utility, rental and staging, Digital out-of-Home (DooH), media/colour, control room and education.

Launched in 2004, ISE has fast become the world’s most-attended tradeshow for the professional AV and electronic systems industry, growing year-on-year. The show encourages the networking of global professionals and attracts multiple end-customers. Last year’s show drew 44,000 attendees from 130 countries and approximately 900 exhibitors. ISE 2014 will run from 4 – 6 February 2014 in Amsterdam RAI, Netherlands, occupying every hall.
