The 24-inch narrow bezel EA245WMi and EX241UN desktop displays reaffirm NEC’s efforts to minimise environmental impact whilst delivering outstanding performance

EA245WMi-EX241UN

Munich, 4 October, 2016NEC Display Solutions Europe today launched the MultiSync® EA245WMi and EX241UN, a series of 24-inch ultra-narrow bezel desktop displays suitable for use in environments such as corporate office and finance trading floors. Organisations across multiple industries will benefit from the health-focused and energy saving features of the displays.

High productivity requires careful attention to healthcare. Thanks to the built-in ‘Low Blue Light Plus’ technology, users’ eyes are protected against cataracts and macular degeneration which can occur due to the long-term use of the displays. This ensures better eye health and overall wellbeing without compromising the true-to-life colour performance of the displays.

The EA245WMi and EX241UN desktop models are designed to fulfil the industry’s environmental and social responsibility targets and have both earned the latest TCO Certified Displays 7. Environmentally designed with minimal hazardous material content, NEC’s TCO Certified displays offer third parties verified option for suppliers looking to meet growing demand for more sustainable technologies.

Our line-up of health-conscious desktop displays enable organisations to create productive working environments whilst being socially and environmentally responsible,” said Alistair Round, Product Manager Commercial Display Solutions at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “Achieving TCO Certified Displays 7 recognition aligns with NEC’s Green Vision, solidifying our efforts to ensure that our products offer both high performance and minimal impact on the environment.”

Elegantly designed, the displays are future-proofed with three and four-sided ultra-narrow bezels that reduce the display footprint to a minimum without compromising on the screen size. In multi-desktop setups, the displays give a fresh professional look with its sleek design. Additionally, the desktop displays offer ergonomic features such as full height adjustability as well as swivel, tilt, and pivot functionality. The human and ambient light sensors within the displays auto-adjust to minimise unnecessary power consumption.

Overall, the new NEC EA245WMi and EX241UN desktop displays target high productivity, performance and quality whilst serving industry demands for eco-friendly and health-conscious future-ready designs.
