New large format display family combines design and reliability at compelling price points

NEC Display Solutions brings quality and affordability with E Series launch

Munich, 26 August 2013 – NEC Display Solutions Europe opens a new chapter of value with the launch of its latest generation E Series range of large format displays.

The LED-backlit E Series commercial-grade displays are designed to bring NEC's heritage of performance and quality to the most cost-conscious customers. With its E324, E424, E464, E554 and E654 models in screen sizes from 32 to 65 inch, the E Series brings a comprehensive entry-level line-up of large format displays for each and every targeted application.

"Due to their sleek design with slim bezels, low product depth and LED backlight, E Series models can easily be integrated into signage or conferencing installations," said Tobias Augustin, Product Manager Public Displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe. "These affordable displays are reliable and they come with a three-year warranty. Installation as well as maintenance is straightforward due to the LED backlight. The displays are an ideal replacement for consumer displays, outranking them in terms of suitable operating hours per day and usability in public environments like educational institutions, corporations, museums and hospitality facilities.”

The E Series range, with its resolutions up to Full-HD and high contrast ratios, provides stunning image quality. Backlight brightness can be adjusted to ambient conditions in order to save display lifetime and reduce power consumption.

Despite their cost-effective price tags, the E Series still packs in all relevant features needed for large format public displays. This includes integrated speakers and digital audio output, as well as a range of connectivity options such as three HDMI ports, component and VGA. Also featuring RS232, these displays can be controlled remotely allowing for professional management of the screen while external buttons can be locked out to prevent unauthorised use.

Availability and warranty
The NEC MultiSync ^® E Series large format displays will be available starting from September 2013 onwards. Each unit includes a pre-mounted stand, a power cord, a VGA cable, a user’s manual on CD-ROM and a quick setup guide. NEC Display Solutions Europe offers a three-year pan-European service warranty including the backlight.
