NEC Display Solutions brings a better, bigger, faster world of visual experience to ISE 2014

Broad portfolio of cutting-edge visual display solutions in unique scenario settings to showcase communication, productivity, engagement and entertainment

Munich, 4 February, 2014 NEC Display Solutions Europe is inviting visitors at this year's ISE to experience 'a world of visual experience' by bringing its latest range of display technologies and innovative solutions to life, showing them being used in various real-life scenarios.

Booth 4-R24 in Hall 4, has been set out to highlight six sectors, including a shopping mall with applications for retail and facility management, a meeting room demonstrating innovative training and conferencing solutions, a cinema streaming ultra high-definition digital content and a quick service restaurant utilising engaging smart displays.

Across the six separate vertical sector areas, NEC will be showcasing key innovations in the latest interactive solutions. These range from bigger and higher resolution displays, multi-touch displays, multi-screen and interactive projection, collaborative DisplayNote tablet solutions, 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) displays as well as laser and laser-hybrid projectors, amongst others.

Of particular note, those interested in Retail and Signage can experience the UHD large format display range with MultiSync ® X841UHD and X651UHD on show and see the life-size MultiSync® P801 – an 80-inch real digital fashion shopping window – alongside the MultiSync® E232WMT monitor with 10-point touch support and FHD webcam. While the engaging content of the touch displays has been created with a revolutionary newly developed management system for multi-touch applications. This is augmented by NEC's growing VUKUNET Digital-out-of-Home (DooH) platform, which provides operators of digital signage networks, location owners, media agencies and brands more dynamic solutions and methods to deploy applications that meet market and user needs.

Cinema fans will be able to experience the NC1100L, the world’s first compact Digital Cinema projector using a laser light source. Alongside this will be the stunning PX602UL laser-hybrid installation projector featuring 4K UHD processing, HDBaseT interface and portrait mode options.

NEC's food court will show off the ground breaking P Series (available in sizes from 40- to 80-inches) feature a built-in near field communication sensor for quicker and cheaper installation and an optional human sensor for creative marketing or reduction of power consumption. These will be powered by the recently launched Android-based QuadCore OPS Digital Signage Player, slotted directly into the display to deliver crisp signage content.

The training and conference area will showcase how meetings can be made more collaborative through the integration of various devices such as the MultiSync® V652-TM multi-touch display and UM330Wi ultra-short projector along with an interactive multi-pen and touch solution and the latest features of the upcoming DisplayNote 2.0 collaboration software.

For facility managers and control room operators, NEC's Hiperwall solution combined with four PA622U projectors in a 4K Edge Blending setup, will provide an ultra-high resolution projection image of 156-inch without external software support.

Last but certainly not least, an interactive way-finding kiosk using the MultiSync® V463-TM multi-touch display will guide visitors through all the different solutions and products shown across the NEC stand. There will be company experts available who can demonstrate and discuss NEC’s display innovations and solutions optimised for a wide range of vertical applications.
