Munich May 9, 2022 – Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe announces its new NEC Dual-Collaboration Room System which combines two displays, an interactive one and an identically designed non-interactive one, into a comprehensive user-friendly system. It is ideally suited for meeting and collaboration environments, whether for fully present or hybrid team meetings. With a sleek and elegant design, the display solution seamlessly fits into modern office spaces.
Sharp/NEC’s Dual-Collaboration Room System (Du-Co Room System) is the first solution on the market to combine a touch and non-touch display identical in design and mechanics into one set-up. When working with an interactive and a non-interactive display in a dual-screen scenario, users no longer need to compromise between design and functionality. With the NEC Du-Co Room System, users not only benefit from a visually pleasing solution but also an enhanced usability. Equipped with an InGlass™ touch display, the system offers a best-in-class pen-on-paper writing experience. Optimised for video conferencing (VC) room systems, the display solution facilitates creative processes in hybrid meetings, such as in Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
“We have listened closely to our users’ feedback to create a system that ideally supports collaborative and interactive meetings, whether teams are entirely in-person, entirely online or in hybrid scenarios. The new solution combines stunning visuals with an intuitive writing experience while seamlessly fitting into modern meeting spaces”, said Daniela Dexheimer, Senior Product Manager Collaboration Technologies at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe.
“With the Du-Co Room System, we are pioneering a dual-screen solution in which form and function meet as equals. The display system elevates the aesthetics of a meeting room while at the same time being easy to use, so teams can jump easily into their work”, continued Gunnar Kyvik, Business Segment Lead Meeting and Conferencing at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe.
