NEC to debut new 4K/UHD display range at ISE 2018

P and V Series elegantly combine picture perfect resolution in new, larger sizes for every signage, conferencing and meeting need

Munich, 30 January 2018 - NEC Display Solutions Europe will debut its latest range of 4K/UHD displays at ISE 2018 in Amsterdam this February.

The new MultiSync® P and V Series large format displays are available in four sizes from 65” to 98” and feature High Dynamic Range (HDR) capabilities for a rich and lifelike viewing experience under any light condition. HDR expands both contrast and colour accuracy significantly. Bright parts of the image can get much brighter, giving any image depth, while colours appear even more intense.

Both series are perfect for a range of industries and environments, from retail and Digital out of Home (DooH), to finance, manufacturing, education, healthcare and transportation, where UHD displays are increasingly used in a range of applications. Due to its high image homogeneity and stable uniformity, the P Series is particularly well-suited for mission-critical control room environments.

The two series have been designed for compelling image performance. The P Series features a brightness output of 700 cd/m2 for complete clarity even under bright ambient light, while the V Series, at 500 cd/m2, is perfect for common light conditions. Viewing quality has been significantly enhanced with the latest anti-reflective surface coatings delivering clearly visible messages even under varying and demanding ambient conditions.

The elegant, slimline design ensures uncomplicated integration into any application where the simplicity of its shape supports an unhindered viewing experience. The reduced depth allows unobstrusive integration within any interior design or architectural environment. The application flexibility is further extended by its ability to install the displays in portrait, landscape or even table mode.

The P and V Series displays are future-ready with Open Modular intelligence (OMi) expansion, enabling owners to upgrade the power of their display at any time by seamlessly integrating one of NEC’s options for Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) Slot-in PCs, Raspberry Pi Compute Modules, or signal interfaces for content feed and computing.

In 2018 we will see most screens from 65” and above support UHD as end-users seek the best possible picture quality for their applications,” said Erik Elbert, Product Manager Large Format Displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “Our new P and V Series are designed to suit every potential need, from conferencing, control rooms and colour critical workflows to advertisement and information signage."

Visual quality and ergonomics are becoming an ever-more important consideration in digital signage, which is why we have designed the P and V Series with advanced functionality that allow full control of all visual parameters via the SpectraView Engine, bringing the most precise and natural images in the industry. The new displays and sizes deliver on our promise to create endless impressions that connect, engage, and impress.”

Both the MultiSync® P and V Series large format displays will be available across the EMEA region between May and August 2018, but visitors to ISE 2018 will be able to get a unique opportunity to see the displays in action.
