Munich, 26 February 2010 – NEC Display Solutions will be showcasing its uniquely extensive DICOM display product portfolio for the medical market at the ECR Radiology Congress 2010, being held in Vienna from the 4 th to the 8 th of March. At stand 109 on the entrance level of Hall Expo A, the company and its partners will be exhibiting the latest diagnostic and review monitors, large-format displays and projectors for use in all hospital applications.
The 21.3” 3MP NEC MD213MC monitor is a perfect example of the trend towards the increased use of colour displays in medical diagnostics. Its patented X-Light ® 3 technology guarantees a stable and reliable DICOM Part 14 conforming image at all times. A pre-set and calibrated white point and brightness setting of the backlight is constantly checked and automatically adjusted. The portfolio of DICOM-compliant medically-certified desktop monitors from NEC Display Solutions includes grayscale and colour displays ranging from two to five Megapixels.
Projectors such as the NP3250 and large-format displays such as the Multeos M461 deliver images for medical conference and training rooms as well as for operating theatres in near-DICOM quality. The MultiSync ® X461UN public display provides an outstanding viewing platform for reception and administration areas. With its ultra-narrow bezel of less than 5 millimetres, stunning video walls can be created that have virtually invisible transition gaps.
