NEC Display Solutions with strong focus on channel sales

NEC appoints Frank Trossen as Manager Channel Sales CE

Munich, 4 October 2011 – Frank Trossen, 41, is strengthening the NEC Display Solutions team with immediate effect as new Manager Channel Sales CE. In his new function he will be responsible for the continued expansion of specialist retail activities in the Central Europe region and will report directly to General Manager Lutz Hardge.

Trossen has extensive experience in the fields of sales and channel management. He has a successful track record in the AV and IT sector stretching back more than 12 years and is regarded as an expert for the strategic development and expansion of customer relationships and networks. In particular, Trossen brings in-depth industry knowledge of the increasingly important education segment.

Between 2007 and 2011, Trossen worked for Promethean, the international supplier of interactive educational technology. His last responsibility there was Head of Channel Central Europe. Another stage in Trossen’s career was at SMART Technologies, where he held the position of Channel Sales Manager from 2000 to 2007.
