NEC Display Solutions launches Full HD 3D ready compact meeting room projector

The PE401H is NEC’s first semi-professional compact Full HD 3D projector

Munich, 20 May 2013 – NEC Display Solutions Europe has announced the launch of the PE401H semi-professional Full HD 3D ready meeting room projector, further raising the standard in image quality and benefits to meet customer demand for a compact high resolution meeting projector with high brightness and outstanding performance.

The latest addition to the NEC projector portfolio brings a range of benefits for corporate and for higher education customers. These include high brightness with perfect image quality for even the smallest details through its 1080p resolution with 2000:1 contrast. All HD and 3D content, including Blu-Ray, is delivered in extraordinary picture quality with HDMI 3D support.

Its compact design, measuring 350mm by 280mm, and the large 1.7x optical zoom, allows greater flexibility when using the projector in mid to large meeting rooms or classrooms. Even at this very compact size, the 4000 ANSI lumens makes it suitable for recommended screen sizes of up to 130" in normal office ambient light conditions . The large 1.7x optical zoom allows high flexibility in positioning the PE401H towards the screen. This also helps to minimise replacement costs of ceiling mounted units as the position of the mount usually doesn’t need to be changed when replacing an old projector.

A variety of different inputs such as HDMI 3D, Video, S-Video, Computer and Audio inputs allow connectivity with all types of digital and analogue input signals such as desktop computers and notebooks, sound systems, Blu-Ray players, and visualisers.

Availability and warranty
The NEC PE401H projector is available from June 2013 across EMEA. NEC Display Solutions Europe offers a three-year pan-European service warranty and the lamp is covered for six months or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first. Education customers can register to have the lamp warranty extended to 3 years / 3,000 hours, as well as several other benefits.
