NEC Display Solutions brings cinema quality laser technology to professional projector range

Flagship DLP Laser Installation PX602UL and PX602WL projectors feature innovative Laser Light Source technology

Munich, 12 November, 2014 – NEC Display Solutions Europe has announced the release of the refined PX602UL and PX602WL projectors with Laser Light Source technology. The innovative blue laser light source provides the projectors with an effective, high quality image, boasting no lamp exchange and energy saving benefits that simplify management. The features of the new projectors are tailored for large meeting rooms and conference rooms as well as creative theatre, leisure and museum spaces or signage.

The outstanding image quality of the projectors is down to the unique NEC NV1301 Scaler Chip and high bandwidth 4K picture processing, providing the highest quality of picture. The projectors not only boast super crisp picture with unique NEC patented picture enhancement but also portrait mode. With capabilities for signal daisy chaining (HDMI out), edge blending and a tiling function without any additional device, the projectors provide an inbuilt superior service. The Laser Light Source technology delivers more constant light output and a typical lifespan of 20,000 hours, resulting in a durable and long lasting image and a lower total cost of ownership. This combination of remarkable technology unites to create an ultimate performance fit for a range of sectors.

With advanced installation, the projectors have free orientation at any angle for any application and have almost no limit, with the most flexible geometric control function. The projectors offer multiscreen picture options with multiple PiP/PoP functions thus improving productivity within a spectrum of sectors including rental/staging, higher education, museums and large corporates. Similarly, the 4K signal interface with signal distribution and tiling function and support for OPS modules to be added, provide a wide range of installation options to suit any professional environment.

The projectors are in line with NEC’s Green Vision offering a power saving mode, a lower power consumption compared to a lamp of only 530W and low maintenance, resulting in an improved total cost of ownership.

Availability
The new NEC PX602UL and PX602WL installation projectors will be available across EMEA from December 2014 onwards.
