NEC launches super-silent, ultra-powerful laser projector
NEC P605UL ensures productive meetings with no noise disturbance, while its filter-free sealed engine provides zero-maintenance operation
Munich, 11 July 2019 – NEC Display Solutions Europe today announces the latest in its family of virtually-silent laser projectors, delivering the highest quality projection with no noise disturbance for the most productive meetings.
NEC’s P605UL is the company’s quietest projector yet, featuring noise levels of just 19dB in eco-mode – quieter than the ticking of a watch. Designed for larger surfaces and brighter areas, the P605UL features stunning visuals with 6,000 ANSI lumen image projection, providing perfect visibility even in brightly-lit spaces.
As well as being virtually silent, the P605UL provides completely maintenance-free operation thanks to its filter-free sealed optical engine, meaning that users can enjoy 20,000 hours of lifetime from the laser light source. The P605UL is a true “install-and-forget” projector with no need to change lamps or filters; what’s more, it consumes just 357W of power in normal mode, ensuring low lifetime operational costs.
The P605UL is fully future-proofed, featuring 4K@30Hz input processing for pin-sharp resolutions, comprehensive connectivity and supporting WUXGA resolution for the ultimate in image quality – without any disturbance from fan noise.
The new projector is perfect for a range of applications, from business boardrooms, classrooms and lecture halls, to large venues and retail signage. The P605UL also features optional WiFi and embedded MultiPresenter function for wireless presentation and screen sharing. What’s more, the projector falls under Risk Group 2, saving operators installation costs with no extra safety precautions necessary.
