NEC gives exclusive preview of next generation large format displays at ISE 2020

New MESSAGE Series offers enhanced functionality, security and reliability for peace of mind

Munich, 7 February 2020 – NEC Display Solutions Europe is offering a sneak peek of its entirely new MESSAGE range of next generation large format displays. The full range contains of three new series; MESSAGE Essential (ME), MESSAGE (M) and MESSAGE Advanced (MA) Series. The new display models deliver full flexibility, ease of use and a large feature set covering entry, mainstream and professional signage for retail and corporate applications.

Customers today are looking for digital signage solutions that offer greater flexibility, easier control and smooth integration. The MESSAGE range delivers this with a modern design that fits any commercial or corporate environment. The M as well as MA Series have the best-in-class readability, even under bright ambient lighting. On top of that, the MA Series offers high colour accuracy, making it ideal for colour critical applications and organisations seeking a consistent corporate identity.

The new range’s modular design, with a slot for Raspberry Pi and Intel® SDM compute modules, ensures you are always ready for upcoming digital signage needs. This new generation will support the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, featuring the latest generation Broadcom Quad-core SoC processor with increased computing performance and 4K video support.

In combination with the new NEC MediaPlayer customers will additionally benefit from an intuitive plug and play digital signage solution that’s easy to install and customise.

As part of NEC DNA, these new displays feature an intelligent in-built cooling system and a high quality metal back cover to enhance the range’s longevity and performance. High haze technology also ensures the screen is always visible, even in bright light conditions.

The ME Series displays will launch in August 2020, the M Series in October 2020 and the advanced MA Series displays will launch at the beginning of 2021.
