NEC is recognised as the Projection and Display Manufacturer of the Year at the 2011 AV Awards!

NEC achieves Projection and Display Manufacturer of the year

London, 6 October 2011 - NEC Display Solutions has been recognised as the Projection and Display Manufacturer of the year at the 2011 AV Awards. The event, which is hosted by AV Magazine, took place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday 30th September. Following the event Clive Couldwell, Editor of AV Magazine commented “last night’s AV awards were a great success, cementing their reputation as the industry’s biggest night out.” He continued “the standard of entries across all categories was extremely high this year and all those shortlisted can be extremely proud of their achievement.”

The shortlist of entries was selected by a judging panel consisting of senior representatives from user companies and key industry players. Overall, the judges were looking for entries that were able to demonstrate a commitment to, and pursuit of, the future development of the AV industry alongside evidence of technical innovation and creative solutions. Impressing the judges, NEC Display Solutions outshone four other shortlisted companies to become winner of the 2011 Projection and Display Manufacturer of the year Award.
