NEC Display Solutions strengthens focus on specialist markets with two new appointments

London, 22 June 2011 – NEC Display Solutions further strengthens its focus on specialist vertical markets with new appointments within the medical and colour sectors. With specialist products already established in these sectors, NEC seeks to further strengthen and build market share, demonstrating its commitment to niche high-end markets. Steve Cotton takes on the role of Colour and Media Sales Specialist focusing on the creative and print markets with the award winning SpectraView® Displays whilst Freddie Elliott is appointed Sales Manager for NEC’s Medical Displays in the healthcare sector.

NEC’s SpectraView Reference series offers a superior colour critical solution for the most demanding pre-press and soft-proofing applications, as well as for professional colour-critical image and video editing. Cotton, previously Account Manager at Eizo, joins NEC as the company launches its flagship 30inch SpectraView model. The 27inch SpectraView Reference 271 has been voted the ‘Best Expert Photo Monitor’ by members of the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), further endorsing the brand. For semi-professional graphics and photographic work, NEC’s PA range offers accurate, consistent and repeatable colour performance. SpectraView models and the PA series are distributed across Europe by Color Confidence, the leading value added distributor in the digital imaging markets.
