NEC Display Solutions strengthens focus on specialist Healthcare market

London, 16 January 2013 – NEC Display Solutions further strengthens its focus on specialist vertical markets with a new appointment within the medical sector. With a range of specialist products already established for applications in medical diagnostics, clinical review and MDT rooms with DICOM compliant desktop and large format LCD displays and projectors, NEC seeks to further strengthen and build market share, demonstrating its commitment to niche high-end markets.

Taking on the role of UK Healthcare Sales Manager, Peter Adams brings to NEC a proven proficiency with eight year’s experience within the medical displays field gaining superior expertise and knowledge. Having previously worked at both Eizo and Barco, Adams is well placed to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead in the healthcare sector. NEC Display Solutions has the widest product portfolio of LCD and projected display solutions for the healthcare market, combining the latest innovations in display technology with Japanese design quality and reliability. Adams says “NEC offers a full range of DICOM compliant display products making the brand very appealing to hospitals wanting to equip hospital-wide from the radiology department to multi-disciplinary teams.
