NEC Display Solutions makes business presentations more mobile than ever

Stylish LED projector brings higher image quality and brightness to small meetings

Munich, 27 February, 2014 – NEC Display Solutions Europe is making business easier for those conducting meetings and presentations in small meeting rooms and on the move. The NEC L102W LED projector weighs just 1.4kg and brings twice the brightness and higher image quality compared to its predecessor, making it the perfect solution for mobile and business applications.

Its stylish exterior ensures a seamless fit into any modern office while the extremely compact and lightweight format makes it easy to place wherever it's needed. Versatile connectivity, inbuilt multimedia functions and full office viewer for wireless presentations allow maximum flexibility.

"Just as we see more laptops and tablets in the modern workplace, as well as more open plan and hot-desk oriented office layouts, so meetings, presentations and brainstorms have become more fast-paced and dynamic. The new mobile LED projector is an extension of this trend, able to be easily moved, set up and used in a number of situations."

The 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness and the 10,000:1 contrast ratio are ideal for a screen size of 65 inches in normal office light conditions, making it perfect for meetings with three or four people. Similarly, various storage (USB, SD card and 1GB of internal memory) and connection options make PC-less presentations easy. With native support for PDFs, various image, movie and sound formats as well as most Office documents, it's simply a case of copying the files over and presenting straight from the projector. The L102W LED projector is even 3D-ready and includes an audio output for connecting to external speakers if desired.

For those who want to include an element of interactivity into their meetings and presentations, the L102W LED projector will include a free licence for DisplayNote Presenter (until May 2014). This enables the user to run two DisplayNote sessions at the same time, allowing for easy content sharing, annotating and collaborating.

Availability
The new NEC L102W LED projector was showcased for the first time at ISE2014 and will be available across EMEA from March 2014 onwards.
