Munich, 21 April, 2015 - NEC Display Solutions Europe is launching a new series of entry-level professional displays for both signage and corporate office applications. The E Series large format display (LFD) portfolio is now split into smaller sized models for signage and larger sized models for conferencing and collaboration applications. This enables organisations in the retail, corporate and education sectors to enjoy more ergonomic visual experiences, whilst benefiting from the flexibility and control that the E Series displays offer.

The line-up now includes eight display models, ranging from 32- to 58-inches (E325, E425, E505, E585), basic conferencing with 65-inch (E654), and large-format conferencing / education models with 70-inch, 80-inch and 90-inch (E705, E805, E905). All displays are designed to fit easily into retail, learning and working environments.

Retailers seeking to improve their customers’ shopping experiences through digital signage and infotainment at an affordable price point can choose from NEC’s smaller sized entry-level E Series displays, ranging from 32- to 58-inches, ideal for the in-store environment. Their sleek and attractive design, as well as their range of essential features, make the displays ideal for standalone operation in mainstream retail applications.

The larger sized E Series models, ranging from 70- to 90-inch, are perfect for businesses and learning environments such as conferencing and meeting rooms or infotainment. These large format displays offer a number of professional features, such as Point Zoom and Browser Control, and an improved visual experience that enhances collaboration and improves productivity.

“The price point, reliability and rich feature set of the new dual E Series makes each display an attractive choice for retail, learning and working environments,” said Tobias Augustin, Product Manager Public Displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “At NEC we are well aware that businesses are looking to elevate their conference and boardrooms into centres of collaboration and productivity, yet need to make cost-effective long-term investments. The larger sized E Series models are giving both education organisations and businesses a head start in achieving that. Thanks to the update of the smaller sized models we can also serve the needs of customers seeking solutions for their digital signage and infotainment applications, which are now becoming increasingly important to their business.”

All E Series models can easily be integrated into existing AV infrastructures for retail, corporate and education environments. With multiple industry standard signal inputs and integrated speakers, as well as the slim and lightweight design, all together make the installation, transport, mounting and integration of the E Series models straightforward.

To simplify operation, the larger sized models are fully supported by NEC’s Management Software NaViSet Administrator 2. This enables organisations and corporations to remotely manage all connected devices from a centralised location, improving efficiency and support and reducing maintenance where displays are installed in large or remote environments.

The NEC E Series portfolio of 32-inch to 90-inch displays will be available across EMEA from April 2015.
