Sharp/NEC introduces the third generation of dvLED FE Series with Flip-Chip technology at ISE 2024
Munich January 25, 2024 – Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe has just announced the launch of the new generation dvLED FE Series bundles. Featuring the highly energy-efficient Flip-Chip SMD technology, the third-generation FE Series not only reduces energy consumption but also makes a significant contribution to achieving sustainability goals. The new high-efficient series is ideal for indoor use in a variety of scenarios, including corporate signage, conferencing, command and control, broadcast, higher education, and leisure.
The new FE Series modules and bundles feature highly energy-efficient Flip-Chip SMD technology to help reduce energy consumption. Consuming up to 60% less power than standard SMD technology at the same brightness levels, the FE Series modules contribute significantly to meeting sustainability goals while reducing energy bills. In addition to improving the energy efficiency of the series, the new Flip-Chip SMD design also improves heat dissipation and durability to further extend the lifecycle for an overall more sustainable solution.
For bezel-free large surface visualization, the FE Series incorporates an established mechanical cabinet design that ensures precise module alignment. Supporting both free-standing and wall-mounted integration with front serviceable modules, the lightweight FE Series is easy to install and maintain. This design philosophy creates the visual experience of a single screen in homogeneous perfection, complemented by an exceptional contrast ratio of up to 8000:1, a deep black level, and excellent off-angle colour reproduction – resulting in a superior indoor viewing experience.
The improved design also ensures low electromagnetic emissions allowing for full EMC Class-B certification on module level for safe operation without negative interference with other electronic devices.
"With its innovative Flip-Chip SMD technology, the next generation FE Series not only signifies a leap in energy efficiency but also underlines our Sharp/NEC commitment to providing sustainable and innovative display solutions," said Nils Detje, Product Manager dvLED Solutions at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe. "It is the ideal choice to captivate and engage audiences with a cohesive and uninterrupted visual experience while keeping operating costs at a minimum."
Sharp/NEC will showcase the new dvLED FE Series bundles at the Sharp/NEC stand at ISE 2024 (Stand E500, Hall 3) from January 30th through February 2nd, Fira Barcelona, Spain. For more information, please visit dedicated product web pages.
