NEC introduces the next-generation MultiSync ® P Series desktop displays

Munich, 17 July 2012 – NEC Display Solutions Europe has announced the launch of the MultiSync ^® P232W, which sets new benchmarks in connectivity, convenience, colour and quality.

This new 23-inch display is the perfect upgrade for customers currently using conventional 19- to 21-inch displays from NEC's 90 Series or for those wishing to migrate from the PA231W.

A highly stable image viewing is delivered thanks to its In Plane Switching (IPS) technology with a W-LED backlight, while a 14-bit LUT and 3D LUT colour space emulation ensures perfect colour control and brightness uniformity. This, combined with a full HD resolution of 1920x1080, provides a productive desktop real estate along with minimal colour shift, image accuracy and ergonomic viewing, making it ideal for those needing to cope with the exacting display requirements of environments such as CAD-CAM engineering, financial trading and semi-medical uses.

Flexible, future-proof connectivity is assured through the inclusion of four input options, namely, VGA, DVI-D, DisplayPort and HDMI. Furthermore, features such integrated USB hub, Picture-in-Picture (PiP), digital uniformity control and easy height adjustment, combine to give advanced users all the flexibility and image quality needed to ensure the highest personal productivity.

The MultiSync ^® P232W also boasts strong green credentials with the latest Energy Star 5 compliance, efficient packaging for minimised logistic effort and innovative features such as in-built carbon reporting and ambient light sensor.

Availability and warranty
The MultiSync ^® P232W will be available end of August 2012. Each unit includes the display, power cord, user manual on CD-ROM, DisplayPort cable, DVI-DVI cable, VGA-VGA cable and USB cable. NEC Display Solutions Europe offers a three-year pan-European service warranty including the backlight.
