NEC Display Solutions celebrates digital cinema projector milestone: 10,000 digital cinema projector units sold

Munich, 21 January, 2016 – NEC Display Solutions Europe today celebrates a milestone for digital cinema projectors, with New Lineo cinemas in Israel installing NEC’s 10,000th projector. The milestone marks the evolution of NEC’s cinema-wide portfolio, which enables cinemas to remain at the cutting edge of cinema screen projection technology, whilst ensuring good total cost of ownership (TCO), and to enhance the wider cinema experience for their customers with digital signage applications.

NEC’s cinema-wide portfolio has been designed to respond to market demands, effectively meeting the business challenges of cinemas. It has successfully created reliable products that deliver cost efficiencies to cinemas, allowing them to remain profitable whilst continually improving the visual experience for their customers. Crucial to this success is the support of its established channel and partner structure - NEC’s ecosystem of technology and sales partners means cinemas continually benefit from those support services.

NEC celebrated with New Lineo cinemas, NEC’s 10,000th digital cinema projector customer, which has installed a NC900C cinema projector, and the NEC partner Miller & Sons. The NC900C projector, along with the rest of NEC’s digital cinema projector range, offers low TCO and a compact design.
